About the Role
As a dnata Turn Around Coordinator (TRC/TAC), you will optimize operational efficiencies, coordinate documentation, load control, and communication during aircraft loading and unloading of bags, cargo, and customers.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate documentation between load control and loading team.
- Maintain daily trip files, station traffic reports, and aircraft-handling statistical data.
- Supervise ramp functions.
- Perform operational safety/load security checks on aircraft prior to departure.
- Coordinate all operational activities during irregularities.
- Oversee all phases of aircraft handling, including catering, cleaning, fuelling, and passenger boarding/de-boarding.
- Supervise handling agents during aircraft loading/unloading, verifying correct buildup/preparation of cargo.
- Ensure cargo or luggage is properly secured in compartments per Airline requirements.
- Track the number of passengers, luggage pieces, and fuel amounts.
- Collaborate closely with ramp personnel and airport station management.
- Coordinate passenger service processes for boarding and de-boarding.
- Ensure proper handling of bag scans.
- Provide daily monitoring reports to the Manager on handling performance, documenting delays and reasons.
- Communicate opportunities for implementing new procedures, processes, or product enhancements.
- Plan for and manage irregularities according to customer, economic, and legal considerations.
- Report flight handling irregularities to Airline management.
- Ensure achievement of aircraft handling quality targets and KPIs, initiating corrective actions.
- Ensure stakeholders adhere to service level agreements.
- Foster quality awareness throughout daily operations.
- Ensure proper training for all team members.
- Strive for consistent quality and service improvements.
- Provide timely and systematic feedback to Airlines and station management.
- Coordinate activities of service providers (caterers, loaders, cleaning, security, CLC).
- Perform specified resource planning within given limits.
- Support passenger service-related processes when required.
- Liaise with Federal, State, and Local authorities and airport operators regarding regulations.
- Maintain regular communication and feedback with Airline management on handling aspects.
- Maintain and update all manuals and local instructions.
- Complete various performance reports as required.
