About the Role
The Wholesale Parts Account Manager will be responsible for selling Mopar products to warehouse distributors, independent installers, and fleets. This role involves assisting Dealers in selling and promoting bpro products to WDs for resale.
Responsibilities
- Travel with Mopar warehouse distributors, wholesalers, Dealers and WD-owned jobbers to sell and support Mopar and bpro products.
- Coordinate and communicate marketing and sales programs, including technician training, technical support, and local product promotions.
- Follow up on sales calls and close sales as authorized by sponsoring Dealers.
- Understand high-level Stellantis Dealer and WD organization and aftermarket strategy.
- Submit daily sales call reports using TrackIT and Excel, including customer visits, sales results, and next steps.
- Provide recommendations on product line expansion, pricing opportunities, and market trends.
- Work with Mopar Headquarters and Field personnel to coordinate efforts and identify open markets.
- Maintain a minimum of one "face to face" contact with every WD and servicing dealer every 30-45 days.
- Maintain one phone contact with every WD and servicing dealer weekly.
- Participate in standard meetings with Mopar Business Center personnel.
- Return all emails and phone calls within 24 hours.
- Log all contacts in TrackIt.
- Assemble merchandising displays, deliver marketing materials, and conduct training seminars.
Requirements
- Must be bi-lingual: fluent English and fluent French (Speaking and writing).
- Minimum of seven years professional experience in the automotive aftermarket and/or wholesale parts environment.
- Specific Stellantis dealer experience preferred.
- Experience in wholesale automotive parts sales, management, and customer requirements.
- Prior dealership training, coaching, and consulting preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Highly interpersonal with team-building and participative management skills.
- Proficient with PC, Dealer/WD Management Systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Self-starter with ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Ability to perform GAP analysis of current operating practices and develop a comprehensive action plan.
- Proficient in all areas of process development, mapping, evaluation, and execution.
- Capable of formulating business decisions based on a logical reasoning approach and offering a solution-based outcome.
- Demonstrated ability to operate successfully in a business environment with limited management oversight and demonstrated teamwork abilities.
- Possess the physical capabilities necessary to accomplish assigned tasks, including assembling merchandising displays, delivering marketing materials, multi-day travel, extended periods of physical activity during training seminars, and ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. without sustaining injury.
