About the Role

Perkins&Will is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead all phases of the design process, manage projects efficiently, and foster team collaboration to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of the design process with proficiency and expertise, adhering to firm and project goals and standards of excellence.
• Manage all aspects of projects to ensure efficient execution within scope and budget.
• Manage project teams, foster collaboration, and demonstrate strong communication to inspire high team performance and successful project delivery.
• Lead the development and validation of project scope, fee, budget, and services during marketing and contract development.
• Ensure complete and timely communication of project information to and from clients and the project team.
• Manage projects using the Deltek Project Management system, including work plans, team members, budget, consultants, schedule, fees, costs, and change notices.
• Collaborate with Project Architect and Sr. Project Architect to resolve schedule conflicts.
• Provide ongoing communication through team meetings, minutes, and memos.
• Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, sub-consultants, and other disciplines.
• Monitor construction administration during the construction phase.
• Understand and respond to technical implications and design decisions.
• Participate in marketing opportunities and develop client relationships for continuing business.
• Control risk management by monitoring client and technical issues to minimize liability.
• Review work for accuracy, omissions, legibility, and document compliance.
• Coordinate staffing resources with the Operations Director.
• Mentor staff.

• Professional Accreditation in one area of Living Design (LEED AP with Specialty, BREEAM AP, WELL AP, SITES AP, Passive House Institute Certified Passive House Consultant/Designer CPHC/CPHD, or ILFI Living Future Accreditation)
• Architectural license or Interior Design license/certification
