Responsibilities

  • Own the design and continuous improvement of employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, data changes) end to end.
  • Surface real problems, such as workarounds, undocumented exceptions, and gaps between teams, then design and drive fixes.
  • Drive successful enablement and adoption of processes across teams.
  • Lead process improvement projects from problem statement through to launch.
  • Build project plans, coordinate across teams, manage ambiguity, and execute with quality.
  • Identify where work should live and facilitate the shift.
  • Partner with technical teams to scope automation opportunities and implement them.
  • Monitor compliance across People Operations: I-9, BGC/FCRA, employee data integrity.
  • Build controls, regularly audit important aspects, and proactively mitigate risks.
  • Manage and troubleshoot People team tools (e.g., Background check tools, I-9, Workday).
  • Keep SOPs current to enable team execution without escalation.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years in People / HR Operations, Program Management, QA, or Compliance, with experience in building structure, tracking accuracy, and ensuring reliable operations.
  • Experience taking broken, manual processes and rebuilding them end to end (redesign, execution, and adoption).
  • Proactively analyzes data to surface compliance gaps and trends and uses findings to execute on improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to spot problems before they are raised and propose solutions.
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize new tools to improve work reliability.
  • Comfort working across Shared Services, HRIS, Legal, Recruiting, Payroll, and HR Business Partners to build alignment and scalable processes.
  • Ability to move quickly without introducing risk or sacrificing quality.

Skills

About the Company

  • Atoms is building the machines that power the next era of progress.
  • Over the last decade, software has transformed the digital world. But the physical world, where food is made, minerals are mined, goods are moved, and industries are run, remains far less intelligent, far less efficient, and far more constrained. We’re changing that.
  • Atoms builds Physical AI— real-world robots for the industries that move civilization forward, starting with food, mining, and transport.
  • Our systems are designed to understand, predict, and control the real world with precision, turning complex physical operations into something more reliable, more scalable, and more productive.
  • This work requires more than robotics. It requires deep integration across hardware, software, AI, operations, manufacturing, and real estate.
  • We don’t just build machines in a lab. We deploy them into real environments, operate them, learn from them, and improve them until they work at scale.
  • We are roboticists, engineers, operators, and builders.
  • We believe the next great technology companies will not only transform information, but the physical systems that shape everyday life.
  • If you want to work on hard problems with real-world impact, join us.
