About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join our San Francisco, California office. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and enjoys working collaboratively with attorneys and staff in a respected national law firm.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple attorneys’ calendars, including scheduling meetings, court appearances, and appointments
- Prepare, revise, and format legal documents, including pleadings, interrogatories, motions, discovery, and correspondence
- Create and update Tables of Contents (TOCs) and Tables of Authorities (TOAs)
- E-file documents in state and federal courts
- Coordinate communications with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors
- Support attorneys with administrative and case management tasks in a high-volume litigation practice
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience as a legal secretary supporting attorneys
- Experience with state and federal court filings
- Strong understanding of litigation procedures and legal terminology
- Superb organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
