About the Role

Advantech Industries Inc. is seeking CNC Programmers to generate and manage programs for various CNC equipment, ensuring the consistent production of precision products for industries including defense, medical, and aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Generate programs for milling centers, turning centers, and multi-tasking CNC equipment.
• Update and manage CNC programs and manufacturing processes.
• Use CAD skills to create work holding and fixturing layouts.
• Program CNC machine tools using Solid Works and Mastercam.
• Create geometry as needed.
• Create manufacturing tool lists for CNC programs.
• Operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keep records of time spent and material used.
• Use precision measuring tools and equipment.
• Read drawings and blueprints.
• Perform basic arithmetic calculations.

Requirements

• Functions as a member of a customer-driven quality team with limited supervision.
• Possesses superior communication skills and ability to develop teamwork.
• Interfaces with department supervisors and machinists.
• Is diplomatic and possesses good human interaction skills.
• Holds oneself accountable for meeting project outcome commitments.
• Ability to multitask with effective priority setting.
• Maintains adequate performance and motivation in routine tasks.
• Ability to work well under pressure, adhere to deadlines, and be flexible.
• Proficient in cutting speeds and feeds.
• Familiar with common machine tools.
• Must be proficient with Solid Works and Mastercam.
• Experience with Mazatrol and Fanuc is a plus.
• Must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Green Card Holder (ITAR Restricted).
