About the Role
Atlantic Testing Laboratories (ATL) is seeking qualified Geotechnical/Materials Engineer candidates for a dynamic career blending fieldwork and office assignments. Experienced and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform evaluation of subgrade preparation for shallow foundations
- Monitor the installation of deep foundation systems
- Perform construction materials engineering, geotechnical evaluations, and special inspections during construction
- Provide technical support to Construction Materials Technicians
- Manage projects, including proposal preparation, client management, technical report reviews, and invoice reviews
- Prepare and distribute technical reports and project correspondence
- Utilize laboratory information management system (LIMS) for reporting, scheduling, and document control
Requirements
- Ability to review and interpret project plans and specifications
- Ability to effectively multitask
- Positive attitude with ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Salary/Compensations
- $73,000 to $95,000/year
