About the Role

You will own how work moves through the product from the first step to the last, mapping property management workflows, identifying and redesigning confusing or broken flows, and ensuring seamless transitions between field capture and office review. This role focuses on the behavior of work, not just visual polish, with your designs being directly implemented.

Responsibilities

  • Map property management workflows end to end, from field capture to sync to review to report
  • Talk to users to understand their workflows, then redesign them with fewer steps
  • Write the logic, branches, and edge cases for each flow for accurate engineering implementation
  • Design offline and retry states to inform users during signal loss
  • Prototype in Figma and conduct usability testing
  • Provide engineering with annotated specs (states, rules, microcopy) for efficient building
  • Review builds, log precise issues, and confirm fixes before sign-off

Requirements

  • Experience designing complex, multi-step workflows (B2B, SaaS, operations, or field tools)
  • A portfolio showcasing the entire design process from problem identification to final implementation
  • Systems thinking approach, designing for states, branches, permissions, errors, and empty cases
  • Ability to write clear flow documentation and specs for engineering
  • Strong proficiency in Figma for mapping, prototyping, and handoff
  • AI fluency, using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Figma AI to accelerate design exploration
  • Working knowledge of accessibility principles (contrast, tap targets, text size, focus order)
