About the Role

As a Learning Experience Officer (LEO), you will offer key support to learners from admissions through their learning journey, ensuring a positive and inclusive experience. You will gain practical, hands-on experience in admissions, enrolment, and frontline customer service, supporting learners with digital systems, handling enquiries, issuing certificates and ID badges, and managing records. You will also act as a Fire Marshall and First Aider, generate ideas for improving learner experience, and maintain knowledge of academic departments and available courses.

Responsibilities

  • Offer key support to learners from admissions through their learning journey.
  • Ensure a positive and inclusive learning experience.
  • Gain practical, hands-on experience in admissions, enrolment, and frontline customer service.
  • Support learners with digital systems.
  • Handle enquiries.
  • Issue certificates and ID badges.
  • Manage records.
  • Open and close learning centres, including tending to alarms and securing the building.
  • Act as a Fire Marshall and First Aider.
  • Generate ideas for new ways of working to support improving learner experience, development and progression.
  • Maintain a broad knowledge of the Academic Departments and the courses available to learners.

Requirements

  • Worked with adults in a front-facing role before, providing outstanding customer experience.
  • Experience helping people get grips with digital platforms.
  • Experienced at using self-service customer database systems and record systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong IT and technological skills.
  • Competence using Microsoft Packages.
  • Flexibility will be key to this role, as you’ll have changing priorities.
