About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to enhance systems supporting FX trading. This role is crucial for delivering reliable and efficient trading experiences by focusing on application speed, stability, and scalability. You will collaborate with engineers, product partners, and operations, contributing to system design and development.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance backend applications using Java.
• Design solutions that improve system reliability and scalability.
• Contribute to improving performance and overall system stability.
• Take ownership of features from development through to production.
• Work with teammates across engineering, product, and operations.
• Contribute to team activities such as planning, code reviews, and mentoring/coaching team members.
• Investigate production issues and work on continuous improvement efforts.
• Help improve how the team builds and delivers software.
• Write automated tests and support continuous delivery practices.
• Follow secure coding standards and support compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Experience developing backend systems in a professional environment.
• Experience working with Java.
• Understanding of system performance and concurrency.
• Familiarity with development tools such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
