About the Role
The Finance Billing Compliance Analyst at Hollings Cancer Center (HCC) manages billing compliance set-up for federal, industrial, and institutional cancer clinical trials. This role ensures accuracy and timeliness in research billing grids, collaborating with the finance unit and the Clinical Trials Office to support study teams and Principal Investigators.
Responsibilities
- Review study documents and initiate Prospective Reimbursement Analysis (PRA) requests for new and amended studies.
- Utilize the Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) to record activity, track status, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Create and maintain research billing compliance grids in SPARCRequest based on PRA documents and federal regulations.
- Initiate Investigational Drug Service requests in SPARC based on Protocol Ancillary Decisions and Logistics (PADL) forms.
- Push final billing grids from SPARC to EPIC and perform accuracy checks.
- Participate in research billing compliance audits and correct identified errors.
- Attend finance unit meetings, staff meetings, and relevant training sessions.
- Prepare and communicate project updates to supervisors and study teams.
Requirements
- High school diploma and three years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, finance, or commercial lending.
- Bachelor's degree with multiple accounting courses may substitute for two years of experience.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists, elbows, and shoulders.
- Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected.
