About the Role

As a Product Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will contribute to innovation and growth for our market-leading product portfolios while enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. In this role, you will manage a global product portfolio specifically for production animal diagnostics. You will manage end-to-end product lifecycle management, from strategy development through commercialization and optimization. Working in a collaborative, global matrix organization, you'll partner with R&D, operations, marketing, sales and other cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional diagnostic solutions that support veterinary professionals and livestock producers. You'll conduct voice-of-customer research, define product requirements, develop business cases, coordinate product launches, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers meaningful impact and visibility, with opportunities to shape product direction through data-driven insights and strategic thinking in the production animal diagnostics market.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end product lifecycle management, from strategy development through commercialization and optimization.
  • Partner with R&D, operations, marketing, sales and other cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional diagnostic solutions.
  • Conduct voice-of-customer research.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience in product management, marketing, related commercial experience or operations.
  • Proven success in product lifecycle management, from concept through commercialization.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop compelling business cases and financial models.
  • Excellence in gathering and synthesizing Voice of Customer insights.
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills in matrix environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities across all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Project management skills to coordinate multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Customer-centric mindset with deep understanding of market dynamics.
  • Understanding of quality and regulatory requirements for applicable markets.
