About the Role
Join Tyson Foods to help raise the world's expectations for food quality and safety. This role focuses on maintaining a clean, sanitized, and safe environment for production equipment and facility areas.
Responsibilities
- Cover motors, electrical plugs, and computer equipment
- Clean excess waste from floors
- Use pressure hoses to spray down equipment
- Scour equipment using pads and chemicals
- Sanitize equipment and areas with disinfectant and oil
- Clean lights, pipes, walls, and refrigeration units
- Handle and distribute cleaning chemicals and record data
- Perform general housekeeping duties
- Comply with safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements
- Perform job rotation tasks as needed
- Complete other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Ability to complete paperwork and SAP functions
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends
- Ability to lift, lower, and carry 20 pounds or more
- Ability to push, pull, and lift 20 pounds or more at various heights
- Ability to use both hands for rapid coordination
- Ability to flex and grip with wrists and hands frequently
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, and bend for up to 10 hours
- Ability to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures of 35 degrees
- Minimum 3 months of work history with the same employer
