About the Role
The Learning Experience – Clinton Hill (TLE – Clinton Hill) is seeking candidates for Lead Teachers for our play-based early childhood development center serving children from six weeks to five years of age.
Responsibilities
- Encourage positive student engagement using play-based activities to develop all aspects of their mental, physical, and social beings.
- Co-teach alongside staff members to develop and execute lesson plans focusing on social and emotional learning, curriculum themes, indoor and outdoor play, the arts and hands-on experiences.
- Perform all duties related to childcare including diapering, feeding, cleaning, and nurturing.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management as per program needs.
Requirements
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or Related Field and/or 5 years experience as a teacher for children six weeks to 24 months
- New York State Teacher's Certification (Birth - 2nd or elementary), if applicable
