About the Role
We are looking for a courteous, customer-focused Dishwasher committed to providing customers with the best service possible. The Dishwasher will clean and prepare dishes and wash glassware when necessary. To succeed as a Dishwasher, you should be polite, prompt, and knowledgeable. Additionally, you should be able to meet the physical demands of the position while providing customers with the best possible experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate the industrial dishwasher
- Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary
- Empty and clean all trash receptacles
- Clean iced tea, coffee and milkshake machines daily
- Rotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources
- Clean dish storage
- Follow sanitation policies at all times
- Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times
- Perform opening, closing and side work
- Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately
- Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to appropriate part
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years old
- Excellent customer service, communication, and math skills
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to comprehend and follow all company procedures and regulations regarding food handling and sanitation
- A courteous and efficient approach to handling customer requests, questions, and complaints
