About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician Supervisor to support the delivery of high-quality maintenance across our portfolio of workspaces. Working closely with the Maintenance Manager, you'll lead and develop a team of Maintenance Technicians across multiple buildings while helping to maintain exceptional visual, operational and safety standards. This role combines people leadership with practical maintenance expertise, supporting everything from reactive maintenance and audits to team performance and training.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Maintenance Technicians across multiple locations
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management
  • Carry out a mix of hands-on maintenance work and supervisory responsibilities
  • Monitor maintenance requests, SLAs and team performance through FreshService
  • Conduct building audits to ensure high visual and operational standards
  • Support maintenance projects, contractor management and rechargeable works
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and company procedures

Requirements

  • Experience supervising or managing maintenance teams
  • Strong skills in general building fabric maintenance, including painting, carpentry, plumbing and minor electrical works
  • Confident using maintenance management systems and technology
  • Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to balance hands-on technical work with team leadership responsibilities
  • A proactive approach and commitment to delivering exceptional standards
  • Trade qualifications or relevant maintenance certifications
  • Experience with FreshService or similar maintenance management systems
  • Experience working across multi-site environments
