About the Role
As a Sales Associate, you’ll be the welcoming face of our store, helping people and thriving in a fast-paced retail environment. Every purchase supports a meaningful mission, offering an opportunity to grow your skills, build your future, and make a real impact. You will earn a $0.50/hour raise after just 60 days.
Responsibilities
- Greet every customer with warmth and professionalism—inside, outside, or over the phone
- Ring up purchases accurately and efficiently at the register
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Answer questions and share your product knowledge with shoppers
- Assist donors at donation drop-offs and offer receipts
- Help maintain fitting rooms and store appearance
- Follow store safety and security procedures
- Promote our mission at checkout and ask for monetary donations
- Jump in wherever needed to keep things running smoothly
Requirements
- A great attitude and passion for customer service
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, physical environment (lift up to 35 lbs)
- Ability to use a register and follow direction clearly
- Willingness to learn
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check
