About the Role

Adams Employees are expected to provide friendly service to our valuable customers, ensuring that each experience reflects the commitment to providing quality products that Adams is known for. For the Curbside Shopper, this means accurately selecting and packing orders, assisting customers with pickups, and working efficiently to ensure a seamless and positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, polite, and knowledgeable service to ensure an excellent customer experience.
• Greet customers warmly and thank them for shopping at Adams.
• Shop and fulfill Farm to Car curbside orders efficiently and accurately.
• Process payments, finalize transactions, and place orders in customers' vehicles.
• Maintain all sanitary and safety precautions while fulfilling orders.
• Assist and train fellow curbside shoppers as needed.
• Troubleshoot department issues and help maintain smooth operations.

Requirements

• Knowledgeable about Adams products and their locations within the store.
• Willingness to learn and demonstrate Adams’ culture and values
• Ability to learn and operate Adams’ point of sale systems
• Willingness to work collaboratively and communicate with a team of co-workers and managers
• Exhibit enthusiasm, positivity and/or knowledge about Adams’ products and quality
• Ability to work at a computer to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
• Consistently move, adjust, and position items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for duration of shift
• Occasionally ascend/descend a stepstool, stepladder, and/or ladder
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers for duration of shift
• Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
• Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions
