About the Role
Assist the clinician in providing medical care to patients within the Medical Practice.
Responsibilities
- Prepare materials, supplies, equipment, and patients for medical exams.
- Obtain patient history and medical information.
- Provide direct patient care as directed by a Registered Nurse or clinician.
- Collect and process specimens and perform point-of-care testing as directed.
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the clinician.
- Instruct patients and families on recommended preventive care, medication adherence, test preparation, treatment monitoring, and symptom changes.
- Contact patients for follow-up, relay test results, or convey clinician instructions.
- Fulfill and adhere to all compliance responsibilities.
- Maintain and model organizational values.
- Demonstrate regular, dependable, and predictable attendance.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN Program.
- Ability to travel between practices as needed.
- Active LPN License based on state.
- BLS certification required within 30 days.
Skills
- Previous medical office experience preferred.
