About the Role

Assist the clinician in providing medical care to patients within the Medical Practice.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials, supplies, equipment, and patients for medical exams.
• Obtain patient history and medical information.
• Provide direct patient care as directed by a Registered Nurse or clinician.
• Collect and process specimens and perform point-of-care testing as directed.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the clinician.
• Instruct patients and families on recommended preventive care, medication adherence, test preparation, treatment monitoring, and symptom changes.
• Contact patients for follow-up, relay test results, or convey clinician instructions.
• Fulfill and adhere to all compliance responsibilities.
• Maintain and model organizational values.
• Demonstrate regular, dependable, and predictable attendance.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited LPN Program.
• Ability to travel between practices as needed.
• Active LPN License based on state.
• BLS certification required within 30 days.

Skills

• Previous medical office experience preferred.
