About the Role
Performs lubrication and periodic maintenance tasks on Texas First Rentals rental equipment in field/job locations. Expected to demonstrate alignment with company values, collaborate with resources, and participate in ongoing self-development.
Responsibilities
- Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes.
- Performs lubrication and periodic maintenance service work on heavy equipment located in the field.
- Greases and lubricates vehicles or specified units, such as springs, universal joints, or steering knuckles.
- Maintains appearance and operation of the lubrication truck.
- Completes all necessary forms and documentation associated with Customer Service Agreements (CSA) accurately and timely.
- Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies.
- Complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One or more years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience.
- Valid Driver’s license required.
- Ability to obtain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and must have an acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to move objects, and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
- Frequently moves materials or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Constant movement and use of limbs; requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
- Able to ascend/descend with gradual or continuous progress by oneself, using both hands and feet and climb up and down ladders.
- Able to safely maneuver and work underneath equipment.
- Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions.
- Required to visually inspect work.
Skills
- Knowledge of construction equipment, aerial, and lifting equipment.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and practices.
- Knowledge of operating characteristics and limitations of the equipment being operated.
- Knowledge of safe work procedures and practices.
- Knowledge of tools, including their designs, uses, and maintenance.
- Proficiency with current computer software, related hardware, and basic knowledge of machine electronic systems.
- Exceptional skills in customer service.
- Operation and control skills of equipment or systems.
- Ability to interact with tact and courtesy and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and customers.
- Ability to read and understand equipment service manuals and lubrication charts.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to perform all the physical requirements of the position.
