About the Role

The Creative Project Manager leads the execution of creative projects across multiple channels and stakeholders, partnering with Creative Account Leads on high-visibility initiatives and managing tactical projects independently. This role requires understanding business context, managing risk, and leading cross-functional execution across various channels, including paid media environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project execution from kickoff through delivery.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and approvals.
  • Lead weekly status meetings, drive decisions, and ensure accountability.
  • Proactively identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and adjust plans.
  • Lead project close-out activities and retrospectives.
  • Partner with Creative Account Leads on strategic initiatives, supporting planning and execution.
  • Translate creative briefs into actionable execution plans.
  • Provide clear visibility into project status, risks, and tradeoffs.
  • Lead execution of tactical projects independently.
  • Apply sound judgment and business understanding to guide decisions.
  • Ensure work aligns with goals, messaging, and channel requirements.
  • Coordinate execution across creative, content, digital, social, email, production, media, and external partners.
  • Partner with paid media teams to manage creative delivery timelines, specifications, approvals, and handoffs.
  • Create and maintain campaign and project working spaces for planning and alignment.
  • Ensure deliverables across channels are aligned, sequenced appropriately, and ready for launch.
  • Monitor project health across scope, timing, resourcing, and risk.
  • Conduct regular project health checks and address issues proactively.
  • Use retrospective insights to improve planning, execution, and team effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in creative project management in an in-house or external creative agency.
  • Proven experience managing creative work across multiple channels, including paid and organic social, email, digital, video, and print.
  • Experience supporting creative execution within paid media campaigns, including working with media teams and managing creative handoffs.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to lead projects independently.
  • Ability to balance structure with flexibility in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Comfort partnering with account, strategy, creative, and media teams.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Experience in financial services, insurance, healthcare, or other regulated industries is a plus.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
