About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Paid Media Manager to manage, optimize, and scale performance marketing campaigns, with a primary focus on Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. This role is crucial for driving business growth and achieving performance goals within a fast-growing organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of multiple ad accounts (100+) using a structured, process-driven approach to drive account growth and ensure consistent campaign delivery.
- Plan, build, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns with a primary focus on Google and Microsoft Ads to support business growth and performance goals.
- Develop and manage media buying budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize return on investment (ROI).
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of tracking and attribution methodologies to accurately measure and evaluate Paid Search campaign performance.
- Develop, manage, and track performance marketing KPIs (ROAS, CPA, CTR, CVR, etc.) to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct deep analysis of campaign performance and use data-driven insights to refine strategies.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including practice marketing, creative, and data analytics teams to align marketing efforts.
- Automate repetitive processes using scripts, rules, and third-party tools to enhance efficiency.
- Provide weekly and monthly performance reports, presenting actionable insights and recommendations.
- Lead projects and pilot tests to evaluate new advertising platforms, vendors, and activations that enhance business performance and drive measurable results.
- Optimize bidding strategies while also leveraging business data to improve efficiency and drive measurable business outcomes.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in paid media, with a proven track record of managing high volume campaigns is required.
- Bonus point if you have worked on small budget accounts.
- Strong understanding of conversion tracking, attribution models, and data analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, etc.) is required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive actionable insights.
- Experience with budget forecasting, media planning, and pacing analysis.
- High Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets or other data analysis tools is required.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience with campaign automation, scripts, and API integrations is a strong plus.
- Bilingualism in French and English would be considered a strong asset.
- Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
