About the Role
The Central Family Hub in London Borough of Harrow is seeking a Domestic Assistant to provide a high-quality service, maintaining infection control and clean communal spaces. The role is crucial for safeguarding health and wellbeing, creating a welcoming environment for families, and managing cleaning supplies.
Responsibilities
- Provide a high-quality service for staff, children, parents, and vulnerable families.
- Maintain infection control standards.
- Ensure clean play areas and communal spaces.
- Create a comfortable and organised environment for families.
- Take responsibility for maintaining a register of cleaning orders.
- Submit orders for required resources.
- Observe council rules on confidentiality.
Requirements
- Experience of working as a Domestic Assistant.
- Awareness of and adherence to COSHH regulations.
- Willingness to learn about other relevant law.
- Awareness of and adherence to Health & Safety Regulations.
- Ability to undertake general cleaning duties as per the cleaning schedule.
- Ability to maintain stock control and organisation of the store cupboard.
- Understanding of maintaining professional boundaries with children.
- Ability to respond quickly to hazardous situations.
- Ability to undertake lifting and handling of cleaning products and equipment.
- Ability to access cleaning supplies in high or low positions.
