About the Role

The Project Manager is responsible for supporting and managing Research and Product Development projects, including planning, monitoring, strategic alignment, team coordination, and communication. This role involves managing multiple ANDA/NDA development projects and developing project management systems for a growing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manages assigned Adare projects through optimal planning and monitoring.
  • Coordinates with cross-functional project teams to deliver project results.
  • Leads internal and external meetings, completing agendas, minutes, and timelines using Microsoft Project and Adare’s Project Management System.
  • Manages customer expectations and critical development timelines.
  • Tracks and ensures monthly and yearly forecasted revenue targets are met for assigned projects.
  • Works with the project team to identify associated risks and mitigation plans.
  • Understands signed proposal activities, identifies out-of-scope activities, and completes Change Orders.
  • Supports project teams by organizing activities with internal functions like Procurement, Engineering/Operations, and Regulatory/Quality.
  • Seeks timely progress for actions and resolution to issues, following up on critical action items.
  • Alerts stakeholders of potential roadblocks or delays.
  • Prepares bi-weekly project status reports and other project updates for upper management.
  • Supports process initiatives and harmonization to improve pharmaceutical development productivity.
  • Participates and successfully completes all required training.
  • Performs other tasks assigned by the PM Management Team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from a four-year accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Understands FDA Guidelines and Regulations and GXP’s.
  • Ability to coordinate, contribute to, and work within cross-functional teams.

Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint).
