About the Role
This role offers an opportunity for an employment lawyer to transition in-house or advance their career within a collaborative, hybrid environment. You will partner with HR and business stakeholders to provide practical legal advice across the full employee lifecycle, influencing key business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Provide clear, practical advice on a wide range of UK employment law matters
- Manage the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and contracts to exits
- Advise on redundancy, TUPE, disciplinary and grievance matters, and restrictive covenants
- Manage Employment Tribunal claims and coordinate with external counsel
- Support policy development and deliver training
- Embed best practice across the business
- Collaborate on EMEA matters within a global legal function
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor or barrister in England and Wales or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in employment law
- Experience in private practice or in-house settings
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law
- Experience advising on complex employee relations
- Experience supporting redundancy programmes, TUPE, and organisational change
- Ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
