About the Role
As a Team Lead at a child care center, you will inspire children to become lifelong learners. This role involves promoting children's social, physical, and intellectual growth, managing classrooms, and implementing curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children.
- Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation.
- Communicate and build relationships with families.
- Assist with the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and fellow Teachers.
- Create fun, interactive learning experiences for preschool children.
- Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the school.
- Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Experience in a licensed childcare facility.
- Experience leading a classroom.
- Experience implementing lesson plans.
- Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
- Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
