About the Role

The Energy Analyst will be a key part of the SourceOne management team, providing energy consulting support and maintaining customer relationships. This role reports directly to the Supervisor of Energy Management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional service to account relationships.
  • Build customer relationships as a key member of the management team.
  • Gather and consolidate data from varied sources.
  • Manage utility information for multiple customers daily and monthly.
  • Validate and verify customer costs and utilization using rate engines.
  • Field inquiry requests and manage problem resolution for customer utility-billing issues.
  • Coordinate and assist with new customer account creation.
  • Develop customized reports to support specific customer needs.
  • Research and identify procedures for authorizations of access to customer’s utility information.
  • Provide follow-up with utility representatives and commodity suppliers.
  • Support administrative needs of the business, including accounting, reporting, sales process, data entry, back-up phone support, and general administration.
  • Support project management requests as required by upper management.

Requirements

  • BS/BA required preferably in Business, Math, Accounting, Engineering, or relatable field.
  • Some energy, utility or related experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills required.
  • Attention to details and ability to review materials for accuracy.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong telephone etiquette.
  • Ability/flexibility to learn and apply new skills.
  • Ability to navigate through a variety of computer applications.
  • Ability to prioritize work.
