About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator responsible for preparing and submitting detailed pricing and cost estimates for Underground Storage Tank (UST) and Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) installation and removal projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pump and tank systems and experience estimating a broad range of construction activities, including both public and private RFPs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for UST/AST installation and removal projects.
• Review RFP documents, drawings, and specifications to determine scope and requirements.
• Estimate Oil/Water Separator (OWS) systems.
• Estimate Environmental remediation projects.
• Estimate Hydrogen fueling infrastructure.
• Estimate General construction work.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and scope information.
• Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for proposals.
• Submit bids and pricing proposals in accordance with client deadlines.
• Assist in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
• Maintain documentation of all estimates and proposals submitted.

Requirements

• Extensive background in pump and tank systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods, especially within environmental and fuel system sectors.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and RFP documents.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant estimating experience.

Skills

• Estimating software (HeavyBid, Sage Estimating, or similar)
• Regulatory requirements related to fuel systems and environmental compliance
• BuildOps or Procore

Experience Level

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant estimating experience

Education Level

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
