About the Role
Conifer Park is seeking a Security Guard for their Outpatient clinic in Syracuse. The role involves maintaining facility security, assisting with patient interventions, and reporting on safety and security matters.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor security throughout the facility according to procedure.
- Exercise good judgment and discretion.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Assist clinical and nursing departments with patients needing behavioral interventions.
- Provide a detailed report of all areas checked inside and outside the facility.
- Report calls for service and infractions of safety and security policies at the end of each shift.
- Monitor all facility cameras and report significant findings.
- Assist admission and clinical departments with patient personal and luggage searches.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current NYS Security Guard License.
- 1 year of pertinent experience.
- Valid NYS Driver's License.
- Background checks, pre-employment & drug screenings required.
Skills
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
