About the Role
We are looking for you starting immediately at one of our locations in Munich, Leipzig, or Berlin.
Responsibilities
- You shape challenging data science projects in an interdisciplinary team.
- You routinely recognize your customer's needs and develop effective, data-driven solutions together with your team.
- You extract the crucial data for the task from your customers' datasets.
- You support the creation of innovative solutions using modern methods from statistics, machine learning, mathematical optimization, and visual analytics.
- You successfully communicate your results to your customer and subsequently accompany the comprehensive implementation of your idea together with the Data Engineering team.
- You regularly attend customer appointments.
Requirements
- Completed university degree in (business) informatics, business administration, statistics, mathematics, or a comparable degree program with a strong quantitative focus.
- Initial practical experience in Python and analytical applications; knowledge of R is an advantage.
- Very good analytical and conceptual thinking skills, pronounced understanding of data modeling and analysis, and basic knowledge of software development.
- Basic skills and knowledge in project management (classic and agile methods).
- Mastery of a common analytics toolbox, especially the programming languages R or Python (and relevant libraries), visualization solutions (e.g., Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI), as well as databases and big data technologies.
- Initial experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, DBX).
- You enjoy project-related work, are customer-oriented, and possess strong communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent German and English skills in speaking and writing are required.
