About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Development team. This role is critical in delivering high-quality software that clients rely on. Responsibilities

• Review software requirements, technical specifications, and design documentation to develop effective testing strategies.
• Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.
• Validate bug fixes and verify successful implementation prior to software releases.
• Collaborate with Development and Product teams to improve software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support business stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist with issue resolution.
• Utilize browser developer tools, APIs, databases, and system logs to investigate software issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, functional reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate testing results and project status clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Recommend process improvements that enhance software quality and team efficiency.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, defect lifecycle management, and QA best practices.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with a collaborative, team-first mindset.
• Experience with payroll, HCM, HRIS, CRM, or business software applications is highly desirable.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum software development environments is highly desirable.
• Experience with Jira, Xray, Azure DevOps is highly desirable.
• Experience with SQL Server and SQL query writing is highly desirable.
• Experience with REST API testing using Postman or Swagger is highly desirable.
• Experience with Browser Developer Tools is highly desirable.
• Experience with IIS, Windows Server, and Web APIs is highly desirable.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is highly desirable.
• Experience with Git or Azure DevOps repositories is highly desirable.
• Experience with test data creation and management is highly desirable.
• Experience reviewing application, web server, and system logs for troubleshooting is highly desirable.
• Experience with responsive web application testing is highly desirable.
