About the Role
As the first Data Product Manager, you will own business reporting, insights, and data products across ClearGrid. You will build the reporting processes, products, and standards that enable every team to make faster, better decisions with trusted data, and shape how data drives the business as the company scales. The scope includes running and standardizing current reporting and building new data products on Command, the collections platform. You will collaborate within the product team and partner closely with analytics, operations, engineering, finance, and the founders' office.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the data product roadmap, setting direction, aligning stakeholders, and delivering against it.
- Serve as the go-to partner for data and reporting, managing the intake process for business reporting to provide trusted answers quickly.
- Define and standardize analytics metrics across products and business lines, establishing a single, trusted org-wide standard.
- Manage business reporting for operations, including agent analytics, product usage, resource planning, and performance reporting.
- Scope, build, and drive adoption of AI scoring and prediction models, starting with borrower scoring.
- Build data products and features on Command, the collections platform.
- Own client reporting and dashboards.
- Establish trusted, self-serve reporting as the default across ClearGrid, providing a reliable data source for decision-making.
Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of product management experience, with a minimum of 4 years.
- Currently operating at a mid-level PM capacity or above.
- Proven track record of building a data product from 0 to 1, preferably in fintech, e-commerce, collections, or analytics.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Demonstrated systems thinking, strong ownership, and the confidence to maintain a well-reasoned viewpoint.
- An AI-native, automation-first, hands-on, and proactive approach to work.
Skills
- Hands-on fluency with BI tools
- Hands-on fluency with data visualization tools
- Tableau experience (preferred)
Experience Level
- Mid-level Product Manager or above
Education Level
- Master's degree in a data-related field (preferred)
