About the Role
The Control Electrician is responsible for providing overall electrical support to plant operations, production, manufacturing, and building electrical systems to ensure continuous operations.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and test electrical equipment, PLCs, low and high voltage building systems, and instrumentation.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.).
- Modify existing equipment to improve performance.
- Follow all GMP, Health & Safety, Food Safety & Environmental Standards.
Requirements
- Ontario Electrician License required.
- Must have a valid driver's license and travel between GTA sites when required.
- Experience with retrofits, modifications, and overhaul of equipment.
- Minimum 2 years industrial electrician experience.
- Past experience in a food manufacturing facility is a definite asset.
- Experience with wiring systems and panels.
- Good command of the English language required.
- Computer literate (MS Office).

Salary/Compensations
- Starting at $36.10+ per hour plus $1 premium for night hours and $2 premium for weekend hours.
