About the Role
ITT Goulds Pumps is seeking a Product Assurance Analyst in Seneca Falls, NY, to perform QA and customer pump inspections, support union personnel, and assist in resolving issues with supporting documentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform QA final inspection of assembled pump units against factory order requirements.
- Log inspection results into Excel and SharePoint databases for Quality Engineers.
- Verify vendor documentation meets customer requirements.
- Select rough and finished parts to meet QA requirements.
- Dimensionally measure finish stock parts when out of tolerance conditions arise.
- Collaborate with shop personnel and foreman to correct inspection discrepancies.
- Assist shop personnel by obtaining component drawings during the build process.
- Supply missing QA documentation to the Software QA Auditor.
- Assist outside customers and inspectors with questions and information.
- Provide information and photos to QA Engineers for vendor discrepancies.
- Perform Visual Weld inspections.
- Undertake special studies or projects as assigned by supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of Quality Inspection experience required.
- Experience in a machine shop and/or assembly build environment preferred.
- VT Level II certification preferred.
