About the Role
This position offers a flexible, dependable security role designed for individuals seeking to supplement income, gain hands-on experience, or transition toward a full-time career. The role features a fixed anchor shift with the opportunity to pick up additional hours through a scheduling platform.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Document observations and notify appropriate personnel regarding incidents.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the store, parking areas, and perimeter.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to support loss prevention.
- Report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and hazards.
- Carry authorized equipment and adhere to post orders and use-of-force guidelines.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Maintain valid state or local licensing as required by law.
- Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
