About the Role
This is a first-of-its-kind opportunity at Mattioli Woods to join our structured 18-month Employee Benefits Academy program. You will be trained to become a confident, credible employee benefits consultant, focusing on workplace pensions, group risk, and healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Develop expertise in workplace pension schemes, auto-enrolment, and regulatory landscapes.
- Gain knowledge of group life, income protection, and critical illness products.
- Develop client-facing and advisory skills.
- Build technical grounding in corporate healthcare solutions and private medical insurance.
- Undertake structured assessments and gain client exposure under supervision.
- Complete industry-relevant examinations and qualifications.
- Continue to receive structured coaching and performance support post-graduation.
Requirements
- 2-3 years in a customer-facing role (e.g., banking, HR, insurance, financial services).
- Genuine interest in employee benefits, workplace wellbeing, or financial planning.
- Clear, confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, professional, and able to study independently.
- Good numeracy and literacy, with comfort around technical and regulatory information.
- Resilient, curious, and motivated for a long-term career in employee benefits consulting.
- Eligible for full pre-employment checks including DBS.
