About the Role

The Head of Digital Growth is accountable for the next-generation operating model, platforms, and end-to-end services that drive adviser and customer experiences. This role partners with Digital Proposition, Experience Design, and Technology leads to define the digital standard and leads multi-year programs to improve customer, adviser, and commercial KPIs through digital-first, omni-channel experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-year Digital modernization programmes from discovery through benefit realization.
  • Own the commercial case for modernization, including sizing, sequencing, investment trade-offs, payback, and benefit realization.
  • Define and embed a test-and-learn operating model with enduring cross-functional squads.
  • Co-shape the next era digital operating model for AX, CX & Digital.
  • Partner with Product Owners to ensure new propositions adopt the modernized operating model.
  • Represent the pillar in senior IL&P governance, planning, and ExCo forums.
  • Lead, coach, and develop multi-disciplinary teams, building capability in experimentation, conversion optimization, and digital analytics.

Requirements

  • Extensive senior leadership experience in Digital growth, proposition, or product roles within financial services or another regulated, customer- and intermediary-led market.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable commercial growth through digital channels at scale.
  • Deep experience leading omni-channel adviser and/or customer journeys in a B2B2C model.
  • Demonstrable success operating within a regulated environment with Consumer Duty (or equivalent) embedded.
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills, including business case shaping, KPI definition, digital analytics, and experimentation frameworks.
  • Agile delivery expertise and experience running cross-functional squads end-to-end.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and senior communication skills.
  • Proven people leadership, including building, coaching, and scaling multi-disciplinary teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of the UK life & pensions market (desirable).
  • Exposure to large-scale digital transformation, target operating model design, or platform modernization (desirable).
  • Familiarity with modern growth, martech, and personalization tooling, and AI-enabled experience and advice models (desirable).
