Responsibilities
- Be a visible front line security presence for the Hospital.
- Protect patients, visitors, employees and property across medical and academic campuses.
- Maintain access control in assigned areas.
- Respond to emergency situations.
- Help maintain a lawful environment for lifesaving care.
Requirements
- Current NYS security guard license
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 90 days of starting in role, and continued BCLS certification required every two years.
