About the Role

This is a great opportunity to join the Legal Services team at Wandle Housing Association. We’re looking for a highly responsive and collaboratively individual to join as the Housing Paralegal to support the in house disrepairs legal team. You will provide legal casework support to the in-house lawyers in managing all claims handled within the team, but with particular emphasis on disrepair claims and access injunctions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the management of housing-related legal matters, including disrepair claims, injunctions, tenancy enforcement cases, and court cost recovery, ensuring deadlines are met and cases progress efficiently.
  • Draft legal correspondence, prepare court bundles, witness statements, chronologies, and collate evidence to support legal proceedings and dispute resolution.
  • Act as a point of contact between the Legal Services team, operational departments, external solicitors, barristers, and the courts, maintaining accurate case records and supporting effective legal processes.

Requirements

  • Housing law experience ideally in a Housing Association.
  • Litigation and court process knowledge.
  • Strong case management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
  • Must already have and be able to provide proof of your Right to Work in the United Kingdom.
  • Unable to sponsor Visas.
