About the Role
This role will reside in the New York office with hybrid work capabilities and will be responsible for meeting the marketing needs of the New York and Philadelphia offices. The Marketing & Business Development Coordinator is expected to perform all responsibilities with a commitment to providing superior service to the firm’s lawyers, advisors and staff, and maintaining an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Manage and distribute sporting and concert event tickets.
- Assist with practice and office-related sponsorships, events, dinners, memberships and community involvement.
- Coordinate invitation and RSVP lists for events.
- Assist in preparing event collateral including name badges.
- Liaise with vendors for events.
- Order food and beverages for events.
- Manage event logistics.
- Act as on-site host and coordinate registration for events.
- Work with marketing and design teams to prepare community support advertisements, invitations, and other print items.
- Assist in new lawyer onboarding process, including coordinating photoshoots and drafting biographies and client announcements.
- Research firm deals, external client events and programs for the preparation of monthly partner newsletter.
- Maintain an accurate database of clients and other contacts for external communication.
- Process invoices related to events, ticketing, sponsorships, and vendors.
- Work with Marketing & Business Development Managers to design and run impactful client events.
- Maintain high-quality mailing lists and SalesForce data.
Requirements
- At least four years of related marketing experience.
- Previous law firm or professional services experience preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong writing and editing skills.
- Strong computer skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential.
- Experience with SalesForce a plus.
- Strong work ethic and service orientation.
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions.
