About the Role

As a Strategic Consultant, you are a key technical consultant/architect on AvePoint’s solutions and services engagements with clients, evaluating, managing, and delivering projects that accelerate customer adoption of their Microsoft investments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead and consultant for service engagements including management, migration, and protection of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint through AvePoint tools.
• Architect, configure, and deploy enterprise implementations for the AvePoint product line and Microsoft technology stack.
• Offer expert guidance on AvePoint and associated Cloud technologies.
• Deliver training sessions to customers via web conferences or onsite.
• Implement technical strategies and solutions to meet customer business needs.
• Act as the customer advocate and liaison for product management and development.
• Compile technical documentation for projects and implementations.
• Set client expectations and deliverables accurately.
• Provide technical support, product demonstrations, and solution consultation.
• Propose and design technical solutions, including creating prototypes and proofs of concept.
• Validate AvePoint products against technical and business requirements.
• Service various technical projects for internal purposes.
• Advance internal QA and scenario testing with virtualised infrastructures and technologies.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in architectural design and development focusing on planning, deploying, or supporting enterprise-level Microsoft 365 and Azure applications.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure, and SharePoint services architecture, components, and configuration differences.
• Experience managing and running projects such as digital transformation, change management, system migrations, consolidation, and deployment.
• Experience with programming constructs, business logic development, information architecture, and taxonomy strategies supporting web services in a SharePoint/.NET environment.
• Expert in leading workshops on IT governance and information governance & compliance strategy for enterprise SharePoint implementations.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, SMTP, and related technologies.
• Understanding of IT governance and compliance standards like ITIL and COBIT.
• Working technical knowledge of current software protocols and Internet standards.
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to set and meet deadlines on multiple projects without frequent supervision.
• Effective oral and written communication skills with exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of customers.
• Excellent technical writing skills and proven track record of composing guides, testing documents, technical outlines, and schematics.
