About the Role

Join CRB for an internship where you'll dive into real-world project work, learn from industry leaders, and fully immerse yourself in the CRB employee experience. This program offers an opportunity to grow, innovate, and make a tangible impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project deliverables under mentor direction.
• Focus on the design and engineering of HVAC, mechanical utility, plumbing, fire protection, and building support systems.
• Perform load calculations, utility assessments, and energy modeling.
• Create design reports, code evaluations, plans, and schedules.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and trade partners.
• Utilize computer-aided drafting and engineering software.
• Develop project documents, including calculations, reports, construction drawings, and specifications.
• Assist with conceptual design development and coordinate with the design team.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines and internal/external team members.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).
• Interest in the Food & Beverage or Life Sciences industry is strongly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights.
• Willingness to communicate and collaborate with multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
• Eagerness to learn about the AEC industry and apply academic knowledge to real-world engineering applications.
• Experience with HVAC systems is strongly preferred.
• Working towards Fundamental of Engineering Exam registration or completion is preferred.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D collaboration tools (Navisworks, BIM360 Suite, Assemble).
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards within the AEC industry.
• Prior internship or co-op experience in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
