About the Role

We are seeking a Traffic Analyst to join our multidisciplinary team in the New York City office. The team specializes in traffic and revenue forecasting for toll facilities across the United States, offering a unique blend of transportation engineering, planning, and economics expertise. We emphasize training, collaboration, and interpersonal connections.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting transportation planning studies, including traffic impact studies, traffic operations analyses, crash analyses, and speed studies.
  • Support Transportation Planning and Traffic Engineering (TPTE) portions of Environmental Impact Assessments and Planning and Environmental Linkages studies, coordinating with other disciplines.
  • Participate in traffic data collection programs and analyze collected data.
  • Contribute to iterative roadway design processes alongside roadway and structural engineers.
  • Prepare materials for public outreach meetings and facilitate clear visual communication of technical concepts for public audiences.
  • Perform microsimulation and mesoscopic modeling, integrating findings into final project recommendations.
  • Draft technical memoranda and comprehensive reports.
