About the Role
Northside Veterinary Clinic is seeking a full-time Practice Manager to provide leadership and structure to their team, ensuring operational excellence and contributing to the ongoing improvement of the hospital and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations in collaboration with Partner Doctors, Medical Director, and Operations Director, focusing on operational excellence.
- Manage staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and efficient workflow.
- Collaborate with veterinarians and technicians to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Monitor and improve patient flow and clinic efficiency.
- Develop and implement client retention and outreach programs.
- Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, community organizations, and referral partners.
- Represent the hospital at community events and participate in outreach activities.
- Manage personnel, including hiring, training, development, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stocking of medical supplies and equipment.
- Prepare financial reports and analyze performance metrics.
- Develop and manage the hospital’s budget.
- Oversee billing and payment processing, including insurance claims and client accounts.
- Guide and coach team members toward continuous improvement and exceptional client experience.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of hospital facilities and equipment.
- Oversee front desk operations, including appointment scheduling, check-in/check-out, and client communication.
- Address and resolve client complaints and concerns.
- Balance the needs of both the business and the staff.
Requirements
- Previous management experience in a veterinary setting is required.
- Effective time management, organization, multi-tasking, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills with staff and clients.
- Passionate about great customer service.
- Comfortable with computers and software (e.g., Teams, Microsoft Office, Slack, etc.).
- Strong capabilities in balancing business and staff needs, organization and prioritization, data management & interpretation, problem-solving, and computer systems.
- Ability to formulate plans and drive results independently and with the leadership team.

- $100,000 - $120,000 per year
- Up to 15% performance-based annual bonus
- $5,000 retention bonus upon completion of two years of service
