About the Role

RWDI is seeking a Business Development Coordinator in our Toronto, ON office to collaborate with Project Managers, grow and diversify business within a geographic region, build client connections, identify project leads, and convert them into opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Project Delivery Manager to create yearly and quarterly regional sales plans and prioritize the budget to activities within the region.
  • Monitor the regional sales budget to ensure planned activities occur within the fiscal year.
  • Identify and connect with clients to coordinate meetings for Project Managers to discuss RWDI services.
  • Execute Sales/Marketing Trips and Virtual Meetings for Project Managers, including scheduling, coordinating, and CRM data entry.
  • Identify, coordinate, and track regional events and conferences in CRM.
  • Plan and coordinate client Lunch and Learns/Presentations, including follow-up and CRM tracking.
  • Monitor proposal activity and client relationships to identify at-risk clients and ensure consistent client touch points.
  • Research market trends to identify new opportunities and clients.
  • Identify qualified Request for Proposals (RFPs) for submission.
  • Maintain data in the CRM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business is preferred; alternate tertiary education qualifications will be considered.
  • 2+ years of previous experience in business development in the Architectural, Engineering or Construction (AEC) field or B2B services.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to deliver on commitments and exceed expectations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment requiring prioritization and management of multiple activities.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement CRM or similar CRM platforms.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications (Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Excel).
