About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on IT Systems Specialist to join our lean Enterprise Technology team. This role involves running and modernizing the systems essential for a fast-scaling business, leading platform migrations, and building automation to reduce manual work. It's an ownership role for someone experienced in IT management within a startup or scaleup environment, who enjoys solving real problems end-to-end and seeing their work positively impact the company.
Responsibilities
- Own platform migrations, directing delivery partners and making technical decisions for cutovers.
- Build automation to reduce repetitive manual work across the business.
- Keep core systems (identity, endpoint, SaaS, security) reliable and secure.
- Translate technical details into plain language for non-technical colleagues.
- Maintain clear documentation and high standards for work.
Requirements
- Solid hands-on experience running IT in a startup or scaleup (IT manager or senior sysadmin background).
- Experience leading platform migrations, directing vendors, and owning outcomes.
- Confidence and hands-on experience with Google Workspace.
- Automation-first mindset with a track record of reducing repetitive work.
- Ability to explain technical concepts simply and clearly to non-technical colleagues.
- Comfort with change, shifting priorities, and ambiguity.
- Ability to write clear documentation and maintain high standards without prompting.
