About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in mental health and the eating disorder field at Monte Nido Clementine Hudson Valley, a residential treatment program for adolescents with eating disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate and support clients through their recovery journey.
  • Provide support and intervention consistent with the client’s treatment plan.
  • Engage clients in developing healthy connections with peers and staff.
  • Assist in food preparation and supervise client meals and snacks.
  • Gain exposure to therapeutic groups and develop clinical skills.
  • Conduct rounds and provide observations.
  • Occasionally drive clients off-site for appointments and activities.

Requirements

  • At least two years of post-high school education.
  • At least one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is highly desired.
  • Valid state-issued Driver’s License with a safe driving history.
  • Good communication and client relations skills.
  • Service orientation.
  • Flexibility.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team.
