About the Role
NABA London is seeking an Academic Services and Student Life Specialist to coordinate teaching and academic activities, manage campus spaces, and support student life and wellbeing. This role is crucial in shaping the student experience from the launch of our new international campus in East London.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the delivery of teaching and academic activities.
- Contribute to the efficient use of campus spaces.
- Provide operational support to the Head of Education and Teaching Faculty.
- Ensure timely preparation of course and workshop schedules.
- Oversee activities and services related to Student Life and Student Wellbeing.
- Ensure the distribution of student satisfaction surveys.
- Share day-to-day responsibilities with the Academic Registration & Student Support Specialist.
- Support reception activities and manage incoming calls.
- Supervise the correct management of academic activities for students.
- Provide information about timetables and Academy activities/deadlines.
- Manage email communications with students.
- Organize student welcome and induction days.
- Prepare and update the welcome vademecum and service guide.
- Facilitate tutors and Course Leaders by managing organizational aspects of lessons and academic activities.
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines.
- Potentially serve as a member of Course Panels.
- Support the definition of Academic Calendars.
- Supervise the elaboration of courses and workshops timetables.
- Manage information on the Student Information System and Timetable System.
- Support the collection of tutor, translator, and guest lecturer information for HR.
- Manage the rescheduling of planned activities.
- Guarantee the booking of spaces for non-academic activities.
- Monitor and forecast spaces' occupancy.
- Oversee the promotion of student social integration and engagement in extracurricular activities.
- Provide general information to students.
- Facilitate special deals with external providers.
- Signpost and assist students needing Wellbeing Services.
- Liaise with Course Leaders for SEN students.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Student Representatives.
- Support the organization of the Graduation event.
- Ensure the distribution of surveys and collection of student feedback.
- Support data analysis for student surveys.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in an administrative, student services, customer service, or higher education environment is desirable.
- Familiarity with academic management systems and administrative practices in educational contexts (particularly in the UK or higher education sector).
- Experience in managing timetables, planning, and coordinating academic events and activities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow policies, procedures, and administrative processes accurately and consistently.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and creative.

- Authorization for the treatment of personal data in compliance with GDPR 679/16.
