About the Role
We are looking for a Marketing Analyst to own their region’s growth roadmap, helping leadership make faster, smarter decisions on marketing channel effort and budget allocation. You will transform performance data into clear, executive-ready insights, enhance forecasting, and provide guidance on budget allocation. This role is highly cross-functional, requiring strong data storytelling to deliver insights for leadership requests under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a prioritized growth roadmap across channels and regions, informed by analysis.
- Convert weekly/monthly insights into themes (scale, maintain, fix, test, pause) with recommendations.
- Keep roadmap and forecasts aligned by updating expected outcomes as investments change and documenting assumptions.
- Partner with channel owners and teams (BI/Analytics, Finance, Legal/Compliance, IT, AI Marketing) to confirm feasibility, dependencies, and measurement, ensuring clear ownership post-approval.
- Deliver weekly/monthly performance reporting with a clear narrative: what happened, why, and what’s next.
- Turn ad-hoc executive requests around quickly.
- Create concise, decision-ready memos/decks that translate data into recommendations.
- Analyze performance by channel, line of business, and brand; recommend where to increase, maintain, or reduce spend.
- Assess incremental spend vs. plan and advise on next actions.
- Identify risks/opportunities tied to attribution limits, tracking gaps, data latency, and cost-to-revenue matching.
- Support maintaining an Excel forecasting model for quotes and budgets by line of business and brand.
- Run monthly forecasts and refresh them when investment levels change.
- Support scenario planning (budget shifts across channels and impact on quotes/revenue) in partnership with AI Marketing team.
- Coordinate with Paid, SEO, CRO, Email, Telemarketing, BI/Analytics, AI Marketing, Lab, IT, Actuarial, Ops, Legal/Compliance) to scope, de-risk, and launch initiatives.
- Drive executive alignment, stakeholder communications, and change management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3–5 years in marketing analytics, BI, performance analysis, or strategy/data consulting.
- Executive-ready communication and data storytelling (explain the “why” behind results).
- Strong prioritization; deliver high-quality work on tight timelines.
- Business judgment: connect analysis to decisions and outcomes.
- Advanced Excel (models, forecasting, scenario planning) and PowerPoint (clear, decision-oriented decks).
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
