About the Role
Blackstone Infrastructure Partners is seeking to originate, source, and execute infrastructure investments. The role involves identifying, evaluating, and developing investment opportunities, leading due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiation of major transactions. The position also requires monitoring portfolio investments and directing research for investment purposes.
Responsibilities
- Originate, source and execute infrastructure investments.
- Identify, evaluate and develop investment opportunities and seek strategic co-investors.
- Lead due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiation of term sheets, purchase agreements and financing terms.
- Negotiate and structure major transactions.
- Direct the execution of investment transactions.
- Monitor the strategic, operational and financial performance of the fund’s portfolio investments.
- Participate in internal and external meetings, contract negotiations, and due diligence sessions.
- Oversee the analysis of financial data and monitoring of financial market developments.
- Direct research of targeted industries for investment purposes.
- Perform valuation analyses of prospective investment opportunities, including assessment of financial risks.
- Compare financial data of investments to forecast industry trends.
- Oversee the work of Analysts, Associates, and Principals, including the development of quantitative models.
- Manage the preparation of written analyses and evaluations of investment opportunities for management.
